Términos de uso — Ounce y Gram

Última actualización: 28 de octubre de 2026

Last updated: October 28, 2026

1. Acceptance

Ounce and Gram (the “Services”) are operated by Michael Dunlop in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. By creating an account or using the Services you accept these terms and the Privacy notice. If you use them on behalf of a business, you confirm you can accept them for it.

2. Your account

You sign in with your verified email, with Google or with your Ounce account. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your email secure. Each venue’s owner decides who has access and with which role, and is responsible for their team.

3. Plans and payment

Ounce is offered by subscription, with a trial period where offered. The price is shown before you pay, payment is processed by Stripe, and the subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in the app. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the paid period; partial periods are not refunded except where the law requires.

Gram is free while in beta. If it later has a price, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance and you can choose not to continue.

4. Your data

Your business information is yours. You allow us to store and process it only to provide the Services, as described in the Privacy notice. We may use aggregated, anonymous statistics to improve the Services. You are responsible for having the right to enter the information you add, including your team’s.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Services for unlawful purposes; try to break their security or others’ access; copy, resell or exploit the Services without permission; upload malicious software; or use automation that disrupts them.

6. Third-party services

Integrations with other systems (point of sale, Google, Stripe, Zoho and others) are also governed by those providers’ terms. We are not responsible for their availability or the accuracy of the data they send.

7. Figures and results

Inventory, costs, cost percentages, variances and reports are calculated from the information entered and are estimates to support your work. They are not accounting, tax or legal advice. Review the figures before making important decisions.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Services available and working well, but they are provided “as is” and may have interruptions or changes. Beta features may change or be withdrawn.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or loss of data arising from use of the Services. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for the Services in the 12 months before the claim or, if you paid nothing, 1,000 Mexican pesos. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these terms, non-payment or a security risk, with notice when reasonable. Before closing a venue you can download your reports.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version with its date and, if the change is significant, tell you. If you keep using the Services after the change, you accept the new version.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute will be resolved before the competent courts of the state of Guanajuato, unless the law gives you another venue.
